COCA – Center of Creative Arts is a nationally recognized not-for-profit arts organization and the 4th largest multidisciplinary arts institution in the country. COCA annually serves more than 50,000 people of all ages, abilities and backgrounds. Through dance, vocal music, theatre, art and design, and beyond, we nurture the artistic and creative potential in our community. We are seeking an experienced accountant to join our team.
This position requires that the candidate be a self-starter with an adaptable skill set with strong attention to detail and must be able to think critically and logically as well as multitask with time sensitivity to deadlines. The candidate must have an Accounting or Business Administration degree with at least five years’ experience in accounting, payroll, and benefits administration. This position will be responsible for all accounting functions including but not limited to processing bi-weekly payroll, accounts payable, account receivable, monthly reconciliations, and year-end closing. An ideal candidate would be experienced using Great Plains, ADP Workforce Now, and Microsoft Office Suite products.
