Financial Assistance for Classes and Camps
Our standard annual financial assistance application periods are:
- Fall, Winter/Spring & Summer classes | JUL 1–JUL 31
- Winter/Spring & Summer classes | NOV 1–NOV 15 Held only if funds are available. Applicants are strongly encouraged to apply in July.
- Summer Arts Camps | MAR 1–MAR 30
Assistance is awarded for Fall, Winter/Spring and Summer semesters. Based on the availability of funds, there may be an additional application period (NOV 1-DEC 1) announced for the Winter/Spring and Summer semesters only. There is a separate application period (MAR 1 – APR 1) for Summer Arts Camps.
Letters are sent to applicants notifying them of their status approximately two weeks after the end of the application period. Applicants must reapply each year.
Assistance is awarded regardless of race, sex, religion, disability, sexual orientation or national origin. It is provided on a first-come, first-served basis and cannot be guaranteed for all applicants. The amount of aid is determined on a sliding scale by family income.
Financial assistance will be revoked if students or parents do not meet the high expectations or standards set by COCA. These include a 75% or higher attendance rate, as well as behavioral and financial obligations.
