COCA’s Honors Program identifies and nurtures talented students who are highly likely to succeed as professional artists.
COCA Honors Program
The COCA Honors Program prepares exceptional students between the ages of 11 and 18 for a professional career in dance and musical theatre. This intensive program, which serves roughly 50 students each year, offers individualized career planning and counseling, ACT tutoring, faculty evaluations, master classes, audition assistance, dancewear, transportation and scholarships.
Students must complete at least one semester of training at COCA, demonstrate artistic and technical talent, and show genuine commitment to their own development. An audition and a recommendation from a COCA faculty member are both required for participation.
