Fall Semester begins SEP 8 Review Health & Safety Guidelines

Welcome to the 2020 Fall Guide, for the first time, online!

This semester, we have hundreds of ways to find your place in the arts. Whether you’re looking for classes to take in-person at our newly-expanded campus, virtually from your own home, or a combination of both options, we have you covered. Wherever you decide to take a COCA class, our talented Teaching Artists will lead students of all ages through a creative and fulfilling experience.

Explore our fall classes by browsing the options below, filtering based on category, day, or course type. Or download the class grids above. We are so excited to connect and get creative this season with you!

NOTE: For all Virtual Art & Design, COCAcooks, and Early childhood classes, students receive all supplies needed for the class (supplies will be distributed the week before classes at COCA)

First Day of Classes: September 8

Last Day of Classes: December 19

View Closure Protocol & Makeup Policy:

In the Event of Closure
In the event of closures, to protect public health, COCA has pre-recorded classes and created an online curriculum and infrastructure that will be immediately available to protect the continuity of your instruction. In the event that COCA experiences a closure, students will receive access to a website with content for their class within 24-hours.

Classes will continue in a virtual format as long as necessary to ensure that all students have a full semester of classes.  Please note that pointe students will receive instruction in ballet technique only, as they are not able to safely work on pointe from home.

Make-up Policy
Due to St. Louis County capacity regulations, all make-up classes will be held online during the Fall 2020 semester using either existing live online sessions or pre-recorded options. Specific make-up assignments can be accessed by contacting COCA Patron Services at patronservices@cocastl.org. Please have the date and class title of the course that will be missed
