Once Upon a Kitchen

Many favorite stories and fairy tales involve foods—think of Hansel and Gretel’s gingerbread, Snow White’s apple or Harry Potter’s butter beer. In this workshop, explore story-based food—reading and creating stories while also preparing the signature food with a sprinkle of creativity while practicing kitchen skills and safety. Pizza Toss Up

Ayurvedic Principles and Cuisine

Ayurvedic is one of the world’s oldest holistic healing systems. It was developed more than 3,000 years ago and is based on the belief that health and wellness depend on a delicate balance between the mind, body, and spirit. The diet involves eating or restricting certain foods based on your dosha, or body type, to boost energy, restore balance, and support mindfulness. In this workshop, learn more about Ayurvedic principles and your own dosha while you learn to cook nutritious foods that support your Ayurvedic health and wellness. Kitchen Improv
Sundays, FEB 2–23 | 1:00–4:00PM

Improvisation is the act of creating something unplanned–requiring imagination, spontaneity and creativity whether you’re on stage or in the kitchen. In this hands-on workshop, we practice theatre games and exercises with improv extraordinaire Ed Reggi. Then, under the direction of Chef Robin Wheeler, we apply the art of improv to culinary techniques and flavor profiles in order to expand our ability to create something amazing in the moment.
