Ages 6–7

Once Upon a Kitchen
WED, MAR 11 | 6:00–8:00PM

Many favorite stories and fairy tales involve foods—think of Hansel and Gretel’s gingerbread, Snow White’s apple or Harry Potter’s butter beer. In this workshop, explore story-based food—reading and creating stories while also preparing the signature food with a sprinkle of creativity while practicing kitchen skills and safety. Chocolate Factory
SAT, APR 18 | 1:00–3:00PM

If you ever dreamed of being Charlie in the Chocolate Factory, this is the workshop for you! Students create chocolate ice cream, hot fudge, chocolate flakes and even chocolate whipped cream. Along the way, learn about creativity in the kitchen and kitchen safety as you practice new culinary techniques. The Perfect Cookie
WED, FEB 26 | 6:00–8:00PM

Come join the quest to make the perfect cookie! Explore at least two cookie styles, such as bar, drop, or shaped; and a range of ingredients, such as cocoa, chocolate chips, oatmeal, lemon or peppermint. Learn to “think like a chef” as you are introduced to a surprise key ingredient and create three separate dishes that showcase it in three different ways. Ages 16+

Ayurvedic Principles and Cuisine
WED, MAR 4 | 6:30–8:30PM

Ayurvedic is one of the world’s oldest holistic healing systems. It was developed more than 3,000 years ago and is based on the belief that health and wellness depend on a delicate balance between the mind, body, and spirit. The diet involves eating or restricting certain foods based on your dosha, or body type, to boost energy, restore balance, and support mindfulness. In this workshop, learn more about Ayurvedic principles and your own dosha while you learn to cook nutritious foods that support your Ayurvedic health and wellness.
