Sunday’s Editorial Cartooning Workshop is cancelled. The Millstone Gallery will be open until 6PM and sketchbooks will be provided for those who want to come see Art.Write.Now before it closes.

For students in grades 7 – 12; no experience required.
Students will create an editorial cartoon, which they can enter into next year’s Scholastic Art & Writing Awards contest (deadline in December 2019). Students will also spend time touring the exhibit and will take home with an exhibit catalog as well as a branded Scholastic Art & Writing Notebook.
In this 2 hour workshop, students will learn:
- About the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards and how to participate.
- The history of editorial cartoons.
- How to translate current events into art, specifically editorial cartoons.
Walk-ups welcome, but advance registration strongly encouraged.
