Using current cultural research and the actor’s toolkit, this professional development workshop helps you uncover the “character of your best self.” Through activities from the world of theatre, you learn how your voice, body language, and intentions help shape people’s perceptions of you and perceptions of yourself. Experiment with authentic leadership presence, collaborative communication, and using mindfulness to invite balance. No matter the profession, this workshop is sure to help empower you to be the confident leader you are meant to be.

This workshop is taught by Lee Anne Mathews, COCAbiz Teaching Artist.

Lee Anne Mathews is an award winning actor, director, and facilitator/teaching artist. She has performed and directed in venues all over the world, including many St. Louis companies. She has been a key member of the COCAbiz team since its beginnings, training leaders from organizations including Ameren, Bayer, Commerce Bank, Starkloff Disability Institute, Washington University in St. Louis, Wells Fargo, and countless others.
