COCA uses the power of the arts and education to build a vibrant St. Louis that is creative, connected, and inclusive. As COCA alumni, you have felt that power, inspired to reach your creative potential, make new friends, build relationships, and most importantly, you found a place to be YOU. Since 1986, we have honored our mission to enrich lives and build community through the arts. Through dance, vocal music, theatre, art and design, and beyond, COCA nurtures the artistic and creative potential in our students and our community. Art is for everyone.

Relive your fondest memories and reconnect with old friends, visit our campus, attend the annual Alumni Reunion, see COCA’s student productions, and keep your passion for the arts ignited.
1956–2022
The Alumni Association supports COCA’s annual fund and the Lee Nolting Student Fund, addressing immediate needs of Pre-Professional Division students, such as audition and performance opportunities, supplies, and college preparation. Funds are purposefully allocated, free from administrative delays, to make a meaningful impact.
This scholarship in Lee Nolting’s name honors her memory, supports young artists as they transition into the next phase of their creative journeys, and builds the next generation of COCA alumni, fostering the strong connections that Lee valued throughout her life.
In addition to the Lee Nolting Scholarship Fund, we celebrate her legacy by annually presenting the Lee Nolting Students First Award to a deserving COCA teaching artist.

Join the COCA Alumni Association
Alumni Association benefits are good for one year. COCA is a 501c(3) organization and a portion of your gift may be tax deductible. Membership to the Alumni Association is intended for individuals and is not refundable or transferrable. Drop-in classes are available only for the adult classes and placement can be secured on the day-of by contacting the Registration Office.
