Virginia Howell is Director of Individual & Corporate Engagement at COCA. She joined COCA’s team in 2006 and also has served as Major Gifts Officer and Manager of Corporate & Major Gifts.
Virginia plays a significant role in developing both COCA’s planned giving program and annual giving campaign from corporations and individuals. She has successfully increased revenues and net profit from COCA’s single annual fundraiser, COCAcabana, with the event now hosting more than 650 supporters and earning more than $950,000 annually.
Prior to COCA, Virginia was a practicing attorney with Armstrong Teasdale specializing in real estate and construction law. She brings a wealth of board, volunteer, and fundraising experience through her extensive interactions with nonprofits and family businesses.
She earned her bachelor’s degree from Duke University and her Juris Doctor degree from Washington University in St. Louis.
