Why COCA?

Our Amazing Faculty
Our campers enjoy a unique and fun-filled summer experience taught by professional artists and teachers! COCA’s talented teaching artists also work professionally as exhibiting artists or performers throughout the region.

Our Personalized Approach
We provide a safe, comfortable, arts- learning environment where our campers can truly enjoy art and the art-making process. Many of our camps are multidisciplinary by design and feature multiple teaching artists.

Presentations & Performances
Campers learn in a fun, relaxed environment where they can express their creativity and gain self-confidence. Each Friday, family and friends are invited to performances and exhibitions (as noted) spotlighting the work created throughout the week.

No Extra Fees
All art supplies, groceries, technology supplies and equipment, as well as eld trips, are included (when applicable) in the camp price.

Applications available online or in the Registration Office. Letters notifying applicants of their status will be emailed and registration will be available at that time.

Campers should wear comfortable clothing in which they can paint, move and play, and closed-toe shoes. Special dancewear requirements, when needed, will be included in the confirmation letter.

Do Campers Bring Their Own Lunch/Snacks?

Full-day campers and campers staying for back-to-back half-day camps have a supervised lunch period. Full-day campers should bring a lunch, drink and two snacks. Does My Child's Age Matter?

Camps are for students ages 3–18, and students should be the appropriate age for the camp during the week in which they are participating. Below are reasons why we believe that being the appropriate age is important:

(1) COCA draws from many schools and areas where students tend to be advanced so our ages are pretty true.

(2) The age ranges are broad already.

(3) The quality of camps remains higher if we stay true to the ages and participating campers are closer to the same age socially

How do I Transfer or Withdraw My Child from Camp?

COCA offers the opportunity for students to transfer to another camp if space is available. Transfers must be submitted before the start of the student’s camp. The Registration Office will contact the student if there is a difference in tuition.

Withdrawing from Camp

Tuition fees will be refunded, less a $25.00 processing fee per camp, if a withdrawal form is submitted by these dates:

May 1, 2018 For June camps and Before/After Care

June 1, 2018 For July and August camps and Before/After Care

COCA offers evening orientation for families to tour the camp facility, meet the camp manager and learn and ask questions about camp policies and procedures.
