Performers practice long-form and short-form improvisation, sketch comedy, and activities that involve audience participation. Using prompts, games, and thematic music, audiences help to create the characters, settings, and stories that drive these performances.

Director of COCA Improv Troupe

A lifelong storyteller with a New York City upbringing, Ed Reggi is an accomplished improv expert, theatre educator, and Emmy-winning actor. He holds a BFA and an MFA in Theatre and sharpened his comedic skills at The Second City in Chicago, learning from industry titans such as Mike Nichols, Colin Mochrie, and Paul Sills. Ed has brought his unique blend of improvisation to organizations worldwide, working with giants like Google, Southwest Airlines, and Mastercard.

Ed’s diverse career spans television, theatre, and writing. He earned a Regional Emmy for his work at PBS and was featured on Oprah Winfrey’s “Welcome to Sweetie Pie’s.” Ed also enjoys serving as a celebrity emcee at numerous Gala events for St. Louis-based charities. When not teaching as a faculty member at COCA or ghostwriting for TV hosts and internet personalities, Ed continues to make an impact on the St. Louis arts scene. He is the founder behind two beloved local events: the 48-Hour Film Project and the St. Louis Fringe Festival.
