The Millstone Gallery is free and open to the public by design. Since 2008, the space has brought the community together to share and experience contemporary art, make personal connections to the work and gain a greater understanding of the artistic process.

We frequently offer additional programming related to the work on display, such as gallery talks, hands-on workshops and classes, lectures and demonstrations.

The exhibition celebrated one of the most creative and intellectually productive eras in African-American history and complemented COCA’s 30th Anniversary production of Uptown.
